You found the cat. Secret project

A cat that lives in your dock.

It sits among your app icons, plays, sleeps, and taps you on the shoulder when you have been at the Mac for too long. Nothing you install today, no launch date yet, just the process so far, and a way to hear when it is real.

Finding the character

Before the black cat, there was a cream one and a grey one. Same idea, a small animal that reacts to you, tried in a few different bodies until one felt right: quick, a little mischievous, easy to read at dock size.

Already living in the dock

The earliest build already does the one thing that matters: it sits in a real macOS dock, between your actual apps, and walks around while you work. Everything else, the moods, the reminder, is being built on top of that.

The motion

The finished run cycle, the one the dock version is built from.
